Fan art for the aviation western The Magnificent Kotobuki. It was a a fun study of western posters, and Japanese graphic design with the show's title and tagline, and fun to draw the characters. Made in Clip Studio Paint, Illustrator, and Photoshop CC. 2020.

Fan art for the Shantae series of games. 2018

Fan art of ARIA, a peaceful Aquan night. - Jan 2022

Different from my typical landscape painting style, this image was made for a Smithsonian contest for the 60th anniversary of Apollo in which they wanted artist's takes on the famous Earthrise photo from Apollo 8. My design is based on Georges Méliès movies, namely A Trip to the Moon. The design was not selected for publishing, but it was well received by other IAAA members.

Sketchbook Pro, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC - 2018

Fan art for RWBY. This was a fun little project to account for different phases of the setting's shattered moon. A satisfying project for the astronomy nerd! - 2017

A patch design for a lunar cycler ship, a vehicle that would constantly make rounds from the far side of the moon to low Earth orbit and back again. This is a newer version made with screen printing in mind. It would be a 4 color design (blue, white, yellow, red), with the red and yellow pressed at the same time. - Illustrator CC - May 2019

A previous, painted mockup of the shoulder patch for the cycler ship. I believe I prefer the Futura font for this purpose. - Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop CC - January 2019

A fictional starship's patch, using a stylized heart in place of more typical medical symbols and filled with nebular blood.

Illustrator CC, Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop CC - March 2017

A design commissioned by the county YMCA that I also work at part time, used for a footrace and included medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd divided by sex and age group. - Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop CC - January 2019

This was made for an image macro contest. I particularly enjoyed making this one, basing the design on the menus from the N64 game Battle for Naboo. Photoshop CC, April 2017
